Therapeutic Touch Workshop

At the completion of this two day workshop, you will have a basic understanding of the knowledge and skills of Therapeutic Touch, a contemporary interpretation of several ancient healing practices.  The practitioner uses the hands close to, but not on the body to intentionally direct energy modulation that facilitates the healing process.  The first session develops the practitioner’s beginning skills.  The second session provides further opportunities to experience and perform the technique.  Attendance at the first class is necessary for attendance at the second class.

I have been fortunate to have experienced in-depth study of Therapeutic Touch with the two creators of the process, Dolores Krieger, RN; PhD, Professor Emerita of Nursing, New York University, and Dora Kunz, a natural healer.  Therapeutic Touch is a Power Prescription where the healing partner and the Therapeutic Touch therapist are in a mutual process of participating knowingly in human-environmental change.
