POWER PROFILE PROCESS
The Power Profile is made up of the person’s scores on the Power as Knowing Participation in Change Tool (PKPCT). The Power Profile Process involves a discussion of these findings with the person. The scores are not important in the sense of their strength and weakness so much as the relationship between the scores of the four dimensions and 12 characteristics of the PKPCT. In other words, the areas of lesser power and greater power can be identified for that particular person. This is helpful in planning Power Prescriptions to strengthen the areas of lesser power. Of course, findings are discussed with the individual in combination of the meaning of power and what has been assessed. In general, the person does not know what the assessment instrument is measuring until after completion of the tool.
